Amazing Las Vegas Wedding at the Palms Ghostbar and Sky Villa by Chrisman Studios
If you thought Las Vegas weddings were all about drive through chapels and Elvis impersonators, then think again. Today I’m showing you a different perspective; the view from the top end of town. More specifically, the infamous Two Story Sky Villa, perched at the top of the Palms Casino Resort. This boutique, three tower resort located off the strip and overlooking the Las Vegas skyline is home to some of the city’s hottest nightspots – Ghostbar, Rain and rooftop nightclub, Moon – not to mention some of its most incredible hotel suites. There’s the G-Suite, whose shower comes complete with disco lights and a dance pole. The Kingpin Suite, decked out with a bowling alley, pool table, theatre sized TV and 12 ‘spare’ TV’s. There’s the Hardwood Suite, the only one in Vegas to house its own basketball court, along with a locker room and private lounge with its own dance floor. And the creme de la creme . . . the ultra luxe Two Story Sky Villa, complete with a private glass elevator, its own outdoor hot tub cantilevered over the city, numerous private balconies, a massage room, a butler, and the list goes on . . . This amazing suite recently hosted the pre and post wedding celebrations of Brittany and Michael, who married at the famous Ghostbar. The whole incredible affair was captured by the wonderful Erin and Ben of Chrisman Studios, who very kindly agreed to share these photos and take us along for the ride!
From the Photographers: Brittany and Michael and their wedding party got ready in the Two-Story Sky Villa (formerly known as the Hugh Hefner Suite), which features a rotating round bed with a mirror above it, a huge, clear-walled hot tub that extends out over the city, and lots of design details left over from its Playboy days. That suite alone was like a huge playground for Ben and me – there were endless possibilities for the kinds of colorful, sexy, arty images we love to make. The ceremony and dinner were at Ghostbar, which overlooks the Las Vegas Strip. Afterward, guests returned to the Sky Villa. There was a little bit of dancing, but the main event was that famous hot tub. It didn’t take long for everyone to take the plunge in their gowns and suits. It was an amazing experience to have the lights and action of the Strip of Las Vegas constantly surrounding us during Brittany and Michael’s wedding day – during getting ready, during the rooftop ceremony, and in the famous suite. It’s an experience we will never forget!
