Civil Partnership at The Gherkin by Marianne Taylor Photography
I’m often asked by photographers and vendors looking to submit a wedding to Brides Without Borders, what it is that we look for in the weddings that we publish. To answer the question, we look first and foremost for an incredible venue or destination, coupled with beautiful details and an exceptional standard of photography. And it’s true to say that each and every wedding featured on Brides Without Borders meets this criteria. We wouldn’t publish it otherwise!
Every so often however, not only do we get everything that we wish for, but the planets somehow align and we come across something with a real ‘Wow’ factor. A wedding that not only ticks all of the boxes, but features the handiwork of the wedding industry’s very best. A wedding that is grand and elegant and glamorous, yet still manages to be intimate and personal. A wedding, like this . . .
Alison & Anna’s civil partnership celebrations took place at the private members club inside one of London’s most striking and unique buildings, The Gherkin; was captured by one of the most talented photographers in the world, Marianne Taylor (winner of ‘Best Wedding Photographer’ at the 2012 Wedding Industry Awards, if you don’t mind); featured not one, but two pairs of gorgeous Jimmy Choo’s, and a wedding cake from what must surely be the best name EVER for a cake shop, Choccywoccydoodah.
Oh, happy days!!
