Wedding Photography in Rome by Rossini Photography
Christina and Andrea had every intention of planning a lavish affair in Italy’s gorgeous Lake District for their wedding. With the bride’s family in the States however, and the groom’s in Italy, the logistics became a little complicated and they decided instead on a more intimate event. Not wanting to miss out on some stunning Italian scenery for their wedding pictures however, they hightailed it to Rome with Claudia of Rossini Photography in tow and, rather cleverly, met at daybreak so they could have the Eternal City all to themselves while they captured these beautiful mementos of their marriage.
From the Photographer: To avoid the massive crowd of tourists and Romans that every Sunday of spring congests the city center, we met at dawn in front of the Trevi Fountain. The bride was truly beautiful. She found a Finnish girl, Janita Helova who did a great job with her hair and make-up at five in the morning. Her dress was extremely elegant, simple and modern, tailored made in an exclusive boutique in Shanghai. After the Trevi Fountain, we moved to Piazza di Spagna, then we walked up the Spanish Steps. From uphill we reached the beautiful park of Villa Borghese, which rises above the center of Rome, in which we had fun renting a row boat, a couple of rickshaws, and taking pictures between alleys, paths, lawns, and woods. It has been a wonderful experience.
